The People Who Walk the Journey With You
LetsGrow.Africa was co-founded by David Mokoena and Werner Schmidt, who believe real growth happens when contemplation, insight, and action move together. Werner began his professional journey in 1994, and David in 2004. They started collaborating in 2022 and formalised their partnership in 2025, bringing decades of experience in leadership, organisational, business, and career development, and creative practice into one integrated platform.
Together, they work at the intersection of personal leadership and practical execution, guided by the principle: know thyself before leading others, and design systems that support performance and a sustainable dance of Culture (human nature) and Nature.

Directed by Chris Dednam, David Mokoena and Werner Schmidt, the Foundation channels donor funding, CSI spend and development capital into leadership growth, venture support and enterprise development across Africa, with clean governance and transparent reporting from first rand to final report.
